Today we performed at the 1000 year old city near Chengdu. It was a lot of fun. The people there are very friendly and warm hearted. They all wanted me to go back to their home so they could cook me dinner.
I did three TV interviews today for local China TV promoting both our trip that we are on now and the trip in September. It takes forever to do an interview because they ask you a question through an interpreter and then you have to answer through an interpreter. Very long process, another reason to learn the language!
We then had dinner with the local government officials who actually remembered me from last year and came over and wanted to toast. Fortunately, we were toasting with good wine and not the Chinese made wine that tastes like rubbing alcohol. Then they wanted me to sing a song so I chose Two Butterflies which I sing in mandarin (The pronunciations still aren't correct but I'm getting closer!).
Now off to bed. Early day tomorrow we are heading out to see the pandas and do a short performance tomorrow afternoon. Night all!

Thanks for your prayers,
Daniel
