Day 7 - Chengdu/Chongqing

After about a 4 hour drive we are now in the city of Chongqing, Sichuan, China. THe drive here was not bad we stopped once at a rest stop/travel center. I picked up a package of pickled chicken paws and some yak meat, yes folks you heard me right, pickled chicken paws and yak meat. Why you ask? Because I could! Also, Alena will get a kick out of them!

We got into Chongqing around 1:00 and went to our hotel. We had a delicious lunch and then Mia, Karl and I went walking. This town really feels like you are in another country. Beijing and Chengdu were really nice but if you switched the people it still felt like the states. We probably walked about 3 miles total and I don't think I saw more than a couple of signs in English.

No performance tonight. So, early dinner and work out a little and to bed.

Today's Pictures

Thanks for your prayers,
Daniel
